Protest March!

The Breathe Clean Air Group would all like to say a huge thank you to all the people who joined the protest march on 8th January 2011. The local community stood together to make our views heard. There are several other people we would like to thank for making the event so successful. Firstly, we would like to thank all the political support we received from the local MP Kate Green, the local councillors from both the Conservative and Labour Parties, the candidates who joined us from the Lib Dem and Green Parties and former Parliamentary candidate, Dennis Wrigley. The speakers at the rally all did a marvellous job, as can be seen on the videos. We would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Police, who did a fantastic job of patrolling the event. Everyone played their part in creating this unique and memorable event, which should sent the message to everyone that WE DO NOT WANT AN INCINERATOR NEAR US!
