My husband and I feel strongly that this project should not go ahead for many reasons, not least amongst these is the danger to our health.
We also live in an already congested area and feel the biomass will only add to this.

I have recently moved to the area with my 2 children, age 11 and 8 and we absolutely love it.

We walk down the canal and around the nature reserve with our dog and the children on their bikes and love the outdoors and we are making the most of it.

After a long day at work and I’m relaxing in my lounge (we live on Davyhulme Road), I am amazed at the amount of people who are walking their dogs, jogging, walking in groups etc, the majority of the residents are very health conscious and this proves it.

It is a lovely area to live, and we feel very honoured to have all of this on our doorstep as we moved from inner city.

Peel have taken hold of most of the land this side of Trafford already. They purchased the ship canal to enable them to ‘do what they want’.

The owners of Peel live on the Isle of Man. They have no interest in the community, or improving the area, just ruining it. They built the Trafford Centre on green belt land, doesn’t that show that to be able to do that they think they can do whatever they want.

I find it really shocking that despite an unaminous vote against this atrocity by Trafford Council they still had the audacity to take it further. I also feel that Mr Eric Pickles needs to come to Davyhulme himself personally and meet the residents and the children who’s lives are going to be drastically affected by this. Or is he going to stay in his lovely house down south and just say yes again??

Is this decision now taken out of his own personal hands as to the plant and handed to somebody who gives a damn or is he still in charge of the decision?? I hope not………………..
