I recently stood as a Green Party nominee for Halton Council. Many people in Runcorn are concerned by the environmental and health dangers that may be associated with the Mersey Gateway project, and the new incinerator. I was not elected, but I still intend to investigate further, particularly in regard to appropriate air pollution monitoring, legal requirements, and how to effectively hold these developments to account . I would appreciate any advice or help that you may be able to offer. Perhaps I could attend one of your meetings, or have a chat with one of you? I am willing to become involved with your own planned actions if that was something that would help at all.
    Yours truly, Dave Heath

    To whom it may concern,

My grandson lives mere meters from the incinerator in Runcorn (Weston Point) and was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in June 2015. Additionally, his mother is now tested positive for abnormal cells and we are acutely aware of the dangers of that incinerator. We are in the process of moving her family away from the area but would like any assistance on the matter if possible. To whom must we contact regarding our concerns?

    Sincerely,

    Jason Evans
