Local Resident Slams EA Operating Permit for BREP
A Local Davyhulme Resident has identified a flaw with the Environmental Permit issued by the Environment Agency (EA) for BREP. The error made by the EA when they were determining the plant’s operating permit is summarised in the document below. It outlines additional evidence which corroborates the public’s lack of confidence in the EA’s decision and therefore strengthens the perception held by many members of the local community, that this plant would cause harm to human health.
The Environmental Agency failed to take notice of this crucial information, which was pointed out. The most affected residential receptor (for NO2) was not Tindall Street, but indeed Wilfred Road as stated in the EA Operating Permit. The facts are that the Environmental Permit is flawed, that the proposed incinerator plant will pollute local people with NO2 (and other dangerous chemicals) and should NOT be allowed to be built.
Well spotted, do you have access to legal advuice on how to make this into a winning challenge?
